“Learn how you learn.”
– Arizona Virtual Academy (AZVA)
We formalized our motto for 2025, but we’ve been practicing this credo since we opened our tuition-free, virtual school doors in Arizona more than 20 years ago. With the flexibility to learn at their own pace, and personalized support from Arizona-certified teachers, every AZVA student gets the help they need to succeed, no matter how they learn or grow.

Why Families Choose Arizona Virtual Academy
Everyone’s experience is personal at AZVA. Check out what our students and families have to say about theirs!
It’s nice when you have a teacher who’s interactive, keeps in touch, and makes you feel important.
It was really helpful having somebody to talk to, like my counselor, Brooke. And just always having somebody there to talk to, to have my questions answered—and just to have a mentor, really.
The time and the compassion and the care that the teachers have put into our kids alone speak volumes. AZVA has been an amazing journey for us, and it has allowed us to have more family time … And it also allows your kid to be in a safe place.
